"Teppanyaki"
The word "teppanyaki" literally means “Iron Cooking” at Ichiban
At the heart of the Ichiban experience is the Teppanyaki table, around which guests gather and enjoy a meal expertly prepared and cooked to perfection on a steel grill, right before their eyes. Your chef is as much of an entertainer as well as a culinary master. Take in the aroma of sizzling shrimp, lobster and savory vegetables and watch as razor-sharp blades slice through tender Certified Angus Beef Steaks, Filet Mignons and juicy chicken. Ichiban chefs each have their own style and showmanship, from presentation to quality, everything they do is to satisfy you, dazzling your eyes as well as your taste buds.
The Meal Layout
"We keep the wonderful tasting foods coming one right after the other."
The meal begins with a delicate Japanese clear chicken broth soup, sprinkled with chopped green onions and sliced mushrooms, followed by a salad with our house ginger dressing. We start with our mouth watering fried rice. The chef then prepares your chicken, beef or seafood, along with vegetables, teppanyaki-style on the sizzling grill surface. Your entrée will be served with secretly guarded mustard and ginger dipping sauces. Mori, our Master Head Chef with over 30 years experience makes every single great tasting sauce we serve at Ichiban.
"Who can I bring to Ichiban?"
Bring a friend, a date, your kids, your whole family or your office gang — anyone who enjoys a delicious, freshly cooked meal with a little fun thrown in. Ichiban can accommodate groups of all sizes, and the more the merrier at the teppanyaki tables. Even if you come on your own, you can join others at the table for a fresh cooked meal and a show. We have a large private room that can accommodate up to 64 people to be used for special occasions (six Teppanyaki tables.)
